Cosmos Baby was born from a vision of an advanced future in which humanity has evolved not only technologically, but emotionally—toward greater empathy, freedom, and respect for individuality. It imagines space exploration no longer as a distant dream, but as part of everyday life, shaping an ethereal visual language of futuristic forms, luminous materials, and otherworldly silhouettes. At its heart, the brand celebrates exploration—of the universe and of the self—and reminds us that we are all children of the same cosmos.
Founder and creative visioner
Sana Renard
Sana Renard, the founder and creative mind behind Cosmos Baby, came to fashion while searching for a more expressive language for her vision. After studying spatial design and exploring fashion photography, she discovered that clothing could do more than complete an image: a garment could carry its own story—about time, culture, identity, and possibility. She later moved to Milan to complete a Master’s degree in Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni, giving form to a universe that had been quietly evolving for years. Cosmos Baby was born from this vision, bringing together technical experimentation, human sensitivity, and a fascination with the unknown.
How we do it
-
Studio based in Milan, Italy.
Cosmos Baby is built around small-scale, considered production. Most pieces are created in our studio in limited quantities or made to order, allowing us to work closely with each garment while avoiding unnecessary overproduction. For selected essentials such as T-shirts and hoodies, we collaborate with specialised production partners chosen for their quality and responsible printing processes.
We believe that fewer, more distinctive pieces can have a longer life. Limited production also means that many Cosmos Baby garments exist only in very small numbers, preserving the sense of individuality at the heart of the brand. And when a piece no longer feels like yours, we invite you to return it to us in exchange for a discount on a future purchase, so it can re-enter our creative cycle rather than simply becoming waste.
